Ashley and Cameron’s love story began on March 19th, 2016 at Houston Hall in New York City. Ashley was excited to attend a birthday celebration for her good friend from grad school, Donna. It was a lively Saturday night, and the girls were waiting at the crowded bar to order another round of drinks, when Ashley spotted Cameron and did a double take! She struck up a conversation, and soon after they went on their first date in Astoria for tacos and spicy margaritas. Cameron wasn’t deterred by the fact that Ashley had just accepted a job opportunity two and a half hours away… they spent the first year of their relationship driving back and forth between Queens and West Hartford, CT, spending almost every weekend together. They quickly bonded and haven’t looked back since! These two developed a love for traveling together, and have enjoyed the food, hikes, and sunsets on countless trips over the years. From Cinque Terre to Sedona to Bologna, Ashley thought each trip was better than the last… until they found themselves walking on Rialto Beach in Washington State. It was June 20th, 2023, and Cameron finally got down on one knee and popped the question that Ashley had been waiting to hear! This couple could not be more overjoyed to begin the next chapter of their lives together. They are so excited to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends next July at the Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington!
