Krista is the closest thing to a sister I’ve ever had. We’ve shared so many memories from sleepovers in elementary school, working our first jobs together, sharing an apartment in college, and so many things between. I honestly can’t imagine my life without her, and my day would not have been complete without her by my side! Matt and I first met after he started dating Ashley’s best friend, Krista. So we were kind of forced into friendship. However, after only a few times of hanging out, I soon realized how much Matt and I had in common and began to really like Matt too. Eight years later, he is now one of my best friends and has been like a brother so it’s only fitting he is my Best Man. Lauren has been my best friend for life. Our friendship began in the year 2000 at only 5 years old! Even being miles away from each other for several years, Lauren and I have still remained so close. Josh and I have known each other for most of our lives. As children, we spent a lot of time together playing videogames, and later as adults, we even worked together. Bre and I first met at JMU’s School of Nursing where we shared 98% of our classes. Early morning study sessions, evening clinicals, and housing fairs led to our accelerated friendship. Throughout middle and high school, Matt and I shared a countless number of classes together, including Latin class where Ashley and I met. Although we all attended JMU but had no classes together, we tried to stay in touch with dinners and bowling. I have always appreciated Matt and I’s shared interest in football and other sports. Since Matt has been apart of Ashley and I’s relationship from its beginning, I could not imagine our wedding day without him there. Nicole and I met when I started at working in labor and delivery. She is the sweetest person I have ever met and really helped me to learn and grow so much as a nurse. She is such a kind-hearted individual, and anyone who knows her, knows just how lucky they are to have her in their life. In addition to being the best mommy ever, this momma also likes to party and have a good time, and she is so much fun to be around. Katie and I worked together for several years in Labor and Delivery. And believe me, there was never a dull moment when we worked together, especially our nights in the nursery jamming to music and snuggling babies. I really admire how Katie puts her family and friends above all else. She is the life of any party she attends, so it's pretty clear as to why I've asked her to be in mine! Katie is currently tackling her biggest adventure in life yet: becoming a mommy! Although she won't be standing by my side on the wedding day, she still plans to attend if able!
