Anthony and Ashley grew up living just a few blocks apart, even unknowingly attending the same karate class when they were six, their tiny kicks and punches crossing paths long before their hearts did. Despite sharing the same town and so many of the same spaces, it wasn't until they both landed summer jobs as camp counselors at Wantagh Park that they truly met. As they worked side by side, they quickly became good friends, sharing laughter, stories, and a genuine connection.

Over the course of two summers, their friendship deepened, and they began to develop feelings for one another. Having spent some time apart to finish their college careers, it wasn't until they went their separate ways that they began to realize just how much they missed one another. Despite the distance and the new experiences that life brought them, they always found themselves reaching out, drawn back to the bond they had formed.

After years of staying in touch, catching up whenever they were back home, and realizing that no one else made them feel the way the other did, their relationship finally evolved into something more. Now, after all those years of near-misses and finding their way back to each other, Anthony and Ashley are engaged, ready to embrace a future that feels like it was always meant to be.
