We met at a Friendsgiving! Our mutual friend, Katrina, happened to invite both of us to a Friendsgiving she was throwing in 2022. Jason asked me on a date that night after we hit it off. We planned to have our first date looking at the Christmas lights at the botanical garden, but after texting back and forth we didn’t want to wait. We ended up meeting up for dinner twice before the planned date!

With several people in on it, Jason was able to surprise me with a proposal! We met some loved ones for wine and charcuterie in Gulfport, FL. With a "request" from his Mother for a picture in front of the Gulfport Casino (where his grandparents used to go dancing), Jason got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!

Clearly, I said absolutely YES
