Yes, the venue has a parking lot on the premises close to the ceremony area and reception.

Ceremony will take place outdoors by the pond, if weather permits. Cocktail hour and dinner reception will take place in the barn for the remainder of the evening. If the weather does not permit for us to hold ceremony outside, we will move the ceremony in the barn.

A block of rooms has been reserved for our guests at a discounted rate- Mention the Higginbothham Wedding. Quality Inn Bradley-Bourbonnais 800 N Kinzie Ave, Bradley, IL 60915 Please call (815) 939-3501 to make a room reservation.

Semi-formal. Ceremony will be outdoors by the pond, where the terrain will be a combination of a concrete pathway with grass and dirt. Please wear comfortable footwear for walking on grass for the ceremony. Absolutely no jeans, this is a wedding not a barbeque.

If you are assigned a “guest” in your invite then you do have the option to bring 1 guest. Please confirm your RSVP by April 3.

Unfortunately, we cannot host any children that are not the immediate family or bridal party at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

We will be serving refreshments before the ceremony and hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet of Mexican and Italian cuisine.

Yes, we have a self serve open bar with a variety of sodas, water, beer, wine, wine coolers, hard cider, hard root beers and hard lemonades of your choice. No hard liquor and kegs will be available. Do not bring your own bottle or have any shots in the bathroom or parking lot. Violators will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY.

No smoking is allowed anywhere in the Willowhaven park.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1605 Thorn Street, Chicago Heights, IL 60411. A wedding card box and gift table will be at our reception.
