We became friends the summer of 2016, going into our junior year of high school. After several months of growing our friendship, we decided in January 2017 to take the leap and officially start dating.

Almost a year and half later, we graduated high school together!

Our relationship continued to grow deeper and deeper over the years, some ups and downs along the way, but we knew we had found our person.

Finally, on July 19th, 2024, we got engaged. We had a date night planned for that Friday. We went to dinner, then we drove to Mount Washington to watch the fireworks from the Pirates game. After the fireworks were over, Ben popped the question!

While I (Ashley) already had most wedding details planned out, finding the venue was not something I was sure of. So the hunt for the venue began. Kayla (matron of honor) kept telling me to go look at Yinzer Valley Farms because she 'just had a feeling'. On August 9th, Ben and I went to tour the venue for the first time and almost instantly, we knew it was where we were going to get married.

On Sunday, the 18th, we went back to Yinzer Valley Farms with our parents to get their opinions. Later that evening, our dream venue was officially booked!

We got our engagement pictures done by our amazing photographers and keep getting more and more excited for our special day to get here. September 12th, 2025 can't come soon enough!!!
