Ashley's story:
Micah came up to a friend and starting talking to her and encouraging her after church. We weren't introduced at that time, but I was instantly drawn to his joyful and fun personality. When he walked away, I asked my friend "Who's that?! Is he single?!" Which is totally not normal for me, but I knew that there was something different about him in that interaction. Our friend invited us both to go dancing a few days later, which is when we officially met at Southern's. He asked me if I could teach him how to dance so we danced and ended up talking the whole night. Quarantine happened about a week later so I was back and forth between Sugar Land and College Station. When I would come back to College Station, a group of us would hang out and workout together. About 2 months after hanging out as friends, a group of us were supposed to workout together. Everyone ended up bailing after I had already committed so I decided to go. He told me that he wanted to get to know me more and asked if he could take me on a date when he came back to Sugar Land. On our first date, we went to a park and threw a baseball around and had a picnic. It was so evident from the beginning that the Lord was leading this entire relationship! After about a month of dating, we both knew that we wanted to get married. Every conversation was so orchestrated by God and we ended up having the conversation about marriage at the park that we had our first date. In November, he took me back to that same park and this is where I said "YES!" to forever with him!
