Back in May 2015, Ashley and Prasad crossed paths at a friend's house. Instantly captivated, they bonded over Ashley’s “crazy” themed outfit and their shared love for the Pacific Northwest. Soon after, Prasad mysteriously started showing up on Ashley’s unit multiple times a week for what he still claims were mere "coincidental" consultations.

As their love story unfolded amidst call shifts, alternating schedules, and frequent trips to Colorado, they explored new restaurants, enjoyed parks with Maya, embraced each other's cultures, and navigated the joys of cross-cultural fusion. However, life took an unexpected turn when Prasad had to relocate to Springfield. Amid the chaos of the pandemic, they supported each other, strengthening their bond. In 2021, Prasad, realizing that life is unequivocally better with Ashley in it, made the decision to move back to KC.

Their love story continued to be an adventure in cross-cultural fusion. Ashley introduced Prasad to daring activities like white-water rafting, snowshoeing, and exploring Cenotes, prompting Prasad to question his own safety. In return, Prasad transformed Ashley into an honorary Indian spice aficionado and managed to decode Bollywood plots without losing sanity.

Finally, in October, after enduring multiple spoiled surprises by Ashley, Prasad seized the perfect moment to propose in the Monet Garden at the arboretum. Ashley, dusting off her finger, replied with an enthusiastic “YES!” Maya is thrilled to announce that her Mom and Dad are officially tying the knot!
