Also known as the Jay Gould estate, Lyndhurst is a Gothic Revival county home that sits in its own 67-acre park beside the Hudson River in Tarrytown. The house is part of the National Historic Trust and tours are available of the grounds and various buildings.

NY Botanical Garden

Sleepy Hollow

Stroll Beekman Avenue for shops, galleries, coffee shops, this is the town that has been immortalized in the pages of Washington Irving’s The Legends of Sleepy Hollow. Sleepy Hollow is also the host to the cemetery which was the scene of the Headless Horseman.
