Our story began with two swipes to the right on two different apps. It was a warm summer day when we had our first date at a small coffee shop right across from New Mexico State University. Both Ashley and Nic worked and studied at NMSU, yet our paths had never crossed, even though Ashley had moved to Las Cruces the year before for grad school.

From the moment we met, we were met with banter, laughter, excitement, and undeniable chemistry. We spent hours talking in that quaint little coffee shop, not wanting to leave, because we both knew this was something special.

That first meeting was just the beginning. From coffee dates to life’s bigger adventures, we’ve been inseparable ever since. Now, as we prepare to get married, we look back fondly on that warm summer day, knowing it was the start of something truly special.
