Stephen and Ashley met in London in February of 2016. They had their first date at a pub called Draper's Arms in Ealing . Stephen had been living in London for a previous five years, and Ashley had moved over to London in January 2016 for work. Stephen is a Primary School teacher at Downe Manor Primary School and Ashley is a Project Manager at Rackspace. After several dates, Stephen and Ashley began their relationship on 24 April 2016. They have been together since.

Stephen proposed in London at Primrose Hill on August 31, 2018 where he brought Ashley on a picnic to watch the sunset over the London skyline. And of course, she said YES!
