Their story started at a house party in 2014 where Ashley was first introduced to Carlos and she immediately made it apparent that she wasn’t too sure about him. However, throughout the night, she warmed up to his quirky jokes and game-loving personality. A few weeks went by until the pair decided to grab lunch at their favorite Mediterranean restaurant, Laylas. They decided to continue the date by indulging in Ashley’s favorite vice, ice cream. They sat on a park bench across from the Avon movie theatre, enjoying a few scoops and good conversation. They ended the night going to see The Grand Budapest Hotel which has become a staple in their movie collection. Fast forward to 10 years later, Ashley and Carlos have moved to Austin, Texas, adopted two adorable pit mixes Guinevere and Winona, and are very much still indulging in ice cream, great conversation and Wes Anderson films.

Our Story

One thing that we love to do is to host a themed party and Halloween is our favorite holiday!

Animals mean everything to us! Throughout our relationship these past 10 years, we have adopted two dogs that have made our family feel whole; Guinevere and Winona!

During our relationship, we have been so fortunate to see many parts of the world together!

Dress code Formal Western attire or formal cocktail is requested! For the ladies, we recommend colorful dresses paired with cowboy boots or chunky heels. For the men, we recommend suits, bolo ties, and again, cowboy boots! No jeans. Please see the above picture as an example of what we would love to see!
