What are the venues for the wedding?

The venue is The 513 in Appleton. The ceremony AND reception will take place here. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 (so plan to arrive a little early in case parking gets busy), which will flow immediately into a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing.

What is the exact timeline for the evening?

5:00 - Ceremony begins (again, please plan to get there early as downtown Appleton on a Saturday evening can get a little busy). The ceremony will be short (you're welcome!!) 5:30-6:30 - Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres - the ceremony will flow immediately into cocktail hour (we're saying it starts at 5:30, but it will start earlier than that, promise!) 6:30 - Seating for Dinner 6:45 - Food! 7:30 - Dessert Bar (Help yourself! There are lots of goodies!) 7:45 - Clear tables on the dance floor 8:00-11:30 - Party! We will also have some late night pizzas delivered around 10:15.

What should I wear?

The attire is formal - there aren't a lot of chances in life to get all gussied up, so seize the moment! But obviously, make sure you can eat and boogie in those fabulous clothes - having fun is the top priority!

Why isn't there a registry?

To put it simply, we really don't need any more stuff! We recently combined two adults' fully-stocked households into one, so the idea of bringing in more material items at this point is time is very disheartening - not exactly an emotion we want connected to our wedding! We are deeply appreciative and honored by the desire to gift us something thoughtful to help us out as we start married life - and we appreciate your thoughtfulness in considering our unique journey as well. There will be a card box at the wedding, and (if you want to get a little wild and crazy) you're welcome to indicate a purpose for your gift - like assigning it to a Honeymoon Fund, a Home Renovation Fund, or a "Oh No, We're Too Busy To Make Dinner So Let's Order from GrubHub" Fund - and we will happily honor your wishes.
