Ashli and Marshall’s love story begins in October of 2017 when Ashli overheard two girls in her class to add Marshall on snapchat. Later that night, Ashli added Marshall and the two began talking until November 7th, 2017 when Marshall asked Ashli to be his girlfriend outside his chemistry class!

The two grew close and spent almost every weekend together whether it was hanging out or going to each other’s family events. Ashli made sure she went to Marshall’s football games every Friday night if she was not busy with her soccer schedule. Marshall went to all of Ashli’s home soccer games in high school and select games on the weekends. Marshall convinced Ashli to go fishing (sometimes) and watch Star Wars with him which she ended up liking after she said she wasn't going to. He is currently trying to get her to watch all the Harry Potter movies. She still has yet to play video games with him but knows it is going to happen. Ashli took Marshall to the Taylor Swift concert which she knew he secretly enjoyed even if he won’t ever admit it! She practices her lesson plans on him before she teaches it to her class and always asks him if her teacher outfit looks okay. The two have always supported each other and will continue to do so.

After Ashli graduated from TCU, she and Marshall went to Disney World to celebrate her last four years of college. While they were in Disney World Marshall proposed on May 17, 2024 at Animal Kingdom. The two could not be more excited for the next chapter of their lives to get started!
