Carlos pursued Ashlie in July 2021, although Ashlie thought Carlos had an amazing smile she just was not in a place for a relationship. They lost touch after a couple of weeks, fast forward to January of 2022 where Carlos begged to see Ashlie again. That evening Ashlie needed to go grocery shopping after work so she told him to meet her there. Walmart Grocery store is where their love story truly began. Carlos helped with loading unwanted items in the cart to aggravate Ashlie. Then at check out Ashlie's milk was leaking everywhere, Carlos swiftly jumped into action by cleaning up all the milk and running to get a replacement. This is all Ashlie needed to see he was helpful, and kind. These are two qualities 2 years later he possesses! After this they became inseparable. Carlos knew Ashlie was the one and he purchased her dream ring in March of 2022. The ring arrived in May, Carlos and Harlow-Sidney quickly got to work on the proposal. Harlow planned the prosposal for June 18th Father' Day this year, at the Colette Miller angel wing display in Boxi Park. Thier families got together and wanted to "take pictures" before brunch. And that's where, Carlos got down on one knee and asked Ashlie to marry him. After this they had to finish building thier house in Sunbridge before they could plan a wedding. The following year they decided to start planning a wedding, and here we are!
