No need to panic! Black tie/formal does not mean a literal black tie. We simply request men to not wear jeans or shorts. Go for slacks and a suit jacket or a tie if you choose, if you don't have one of those options khakis and a nice button up are appropriate as well! For the women we ask for you to wear a dress. Don't stress, get excited about it and instead think of it as a time to wear something you don't normally get to wear!
