IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Yes! The dress code is Cocktail Attire (semi-formal).
What we recommend for men : suit & tie or khakis and a nice button up with dress shoes.
What we recommend for women : cocktail dresses, or nice jumpsuits.
Please no jeans or sneakers (children are welcome to wear sneakers!).
WHAT SHOULD I NOT WEAR?
We hope you see this days as an opportunity to have fun and dress up! The only thing we ask you please not wear is white and pale colors that look white, jeans, sneakers, or flip flops. We do hope you understand and respect this request!
WILL EVERYONE BE ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?
Not everyone will be able to have a plus one.
While we wish we could accommodate everyone to have a plus one, our venue and reception space does have a cap of the amount of guests we can have. It will be indicated on your invite if you may bring a plus one. Most of the envelopes will say “and guest" or the guest's name. If your envelope says this then yes you may bring a plus one.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Children are welcome at our destination wedding! We understand how difficult it can be to be hours away from your child or children, especially if sitters or family are unavailable. The names of the children will be listed on the inside of the formal invitation envelope. Adults are encouraged to find someone to look after them, put on some dance shoes, and spend a date night with us if possible.
HOW DO I RSVP?
To RSVP, select the RSVP tab and enter one of the adults' names stated on the envelope. It will then bring up you and your guest(s), allowing you to accept or decline the invitation to both the wedding ceremony and reception. If you are not as tech-savvy and are having problems accepting or declining the invitation online, please feel free to reach out to Ashlyn or Alex to confirm or deny your attendance on their wedding day!
WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?
Please RSVP no later than April 12, 2025. The earlier the better! You can RSVP in the RSVP tab. If you do not RSVP by the date listed, we will assume you are not able to attend and will mark you as not attending.
WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND?
You will be dearly missed! If you are unable to attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "decline" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?
Our venue is located within a private gated neighborhood. Please come to the Glassy gatehouse at 10 Plumley Summit Road, Landrum, SC 29356 to check in; this is the address noted on the invitation. Security will direct you to the Chapel at 98 The Cliffs Parkway, Landrum, SC 29356. The gatehouse is ten minutes from the Chapel. Please factor this additional time into your driving time.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes! parking is located directly in front of our venue.
IS THERE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS?
