Our love story begins at a young adult small group on May 5th, 2021. Ashlyn was looking for more young adult connection and, at a friend’s reccomendation, joined the young adult bible study Kameron had already been attending. Though Ashlyn was determined to focus on growing her relationship with the Lord, she could not help but become enamored with Kameron- this guy who talked so passionately and confidently about God. Kameron took notice of the new girl who loved Jesus so passionately, and a beautiful friendship began to bloom. Over the next year and a half, through trials, tribulations, and change, our relationship only deepened. It became apparent that our friendship might actually be something much more meaningful than either of us had actually realized. After a two-hour post bible-study conversation in the church parking lot, Kameron asked the inevitable question, “So… you wanna hang out sometime?” Ashlyn gave an emphatic “Yes!” and so we began the slow transition from good friends to something much more. After a year of dating it became apparent that both of us wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of our lives by each other's side. On October 13th, on a mountain overlook, Kameron asked Ashlyn to marry him and she responded with the easiest “Yes!” of her life. On May 4th, we will emark on our greatest adventure yet- a lifetime held together by the covenant of marriage.
