Our Wedding

Our story began in college during our sophomore year when mutual friends introduced us. Back then, it was just a simple “hello,” but little did we know, fate had already begun writing our love story. It wasn’t until a spring break ski trip to Colorado that our paths truly crossed again. Gavin kindly offered to teach me how to ski—a task that was probably more challenging than he’d expected! I was far from graceful on those slopes, but his endless patience and encouraging smile, even through each of my tumbles, revealed the kindness and strength of character that I quickly fell in love with. Over the next two months, we explored what this unexpected connection might be. With each conversation and every moment together, I realized just how special Gavin was. But I knew he was “the one” when he volunteered to meet my parents and extended family without hesitation. I was so nervous, but he took it all in stride, welcoming them with the same warmth and calmness he always shows me. The next day, after a hike up Pinnacle Mountain, we reached the top, and Gavin asked me to be his girlfriend. Since that day, we have been incredibly blessed to have each other through the ups and downs of the second half of college and the beginnings of our careers. With each milestone, our relationship has only grown stronger, and we are so grateful for the unwavering support we find in one another. Over the last two—going on three—years, God has continued to guide and provide for us, leading us each day toward this beautiful moment. We believe wholeheartedly that He brought us together for a reason, and we feel deeply blessed to step into this new chapter as husband and wife.
