This is my first wedding- What should I expect?

We are two adults in our 20s ... you should expect loud music, a dance floor, party games, and tacos! We're here to celebrate unity and marriage. Arrive on time. The wedding party will make their special entrance approximately 5 minutes after start time. Once inside, guests will observe the couple having their first dance, making announcements/speeches, and thanking everyone for their attendance. Once this is completed, guests will be invited to enter the dinner line where Be Blessed Tacos will be prepared to serve their delicious meal with options for rice, beans, and additional fixings for a true Tex-Mex experience. While dinner is underway, there will be a series of wedding games suited for entertaining our guests! Once games and entertainment is complete, the dance floor will be open for guests to let loose, celebrate the bride and groom, and enjoy the rest of the night. There will be stations situated along the perimeter of the hall with a guest book for guests to sign, a video display of the wedding ceremony from Hot Springs, AR for guests to view, a gift table for guests to provide gifts to the couple, and a selfie spot established for guests to take photos, and a custom made cornhole board built by the groom's father for guests to entertain themselves away from the dance floor.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by June 1st, 2024. This is to ensure that we provide enough seating, food, etc. for anybody attending. If you, however, do not RSVP by that date, that does not mean you are no longer able to attend, but it does sadly remove the possibility of being served and seated as those who did RSVP. It would be well advised to supply your own seating arrangement/food preparation in that situation. The reasoning for this is that our venue accounts for a total number of guests who have RSVP'd, as well at the company catering for our reception. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a guest or a date?

Due to limited capacity at our venue, we, unfortunately, can only allow those named on your invitation to celebrate with us. If you have received a plus one, your invitation may say "<your name> & Guest." We appreciate your understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Due to religious beliefs, alcohol will not be served. If you choose to bring your own, please be respectful of others, familiarize yourself with Texas law and abide by it, drink responsibly, arrange for a sober driver at the conclusion of the event, and understand that you (not the venue, wedding party, nor bride and/or groom) are liable to any and all repercussions of your actions while under the influence.

What should I wear?

Semi-Formal / Cocktail attire. Something you'd wear to Prom, a nice company Christmas party, or Easter Sunday at church. The bride does, however, kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white, as white is traditionally the color donned by the bride herself. We hope you understand.

Can I bring my children?

Though we do love your little ones, in order to give all of our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children under 13 years old. Make this a date night! If you have any questions or concerns regarding this request, please feel free to contact Ashlynn Stamps at (936) 332-0008.
