We are booking accommodation for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of March with check out on the 13th of March. It will be less than an hour away from the venue where all the functions are taking place. The transport back/forth to the venue will also be covered.

We recommend flying in by the 7th or 8th of March 2026 in Delhi so you can shop in the day and be ready to hit the road on the 9th of March. You will need to book accommodation for the time you plan on staying in Delhi. We have provided some suggestions for accommodation close to the place where we recommend shopping.

We will be picking everybody up on the morning of 9th of March from Delhi (Location TBC) unless you plan on reaching the accommodation by yourself. The journey will be 8 hours. After the night of 12th of March, you are free to book your travels as you wish. Abhay and I will stay back in Almora.

The weather is pleasant, hovering between 9-23 degrees celsius. Usually cold in the mornings and nights so wedding night will be cold.

We recommend carrying Australian dollars to India and getting them exchanged for rupees at the Indian airport or in the market when you go shopping. There are a lot of local places where you would need cash so carry a good amount.
