Chris and Ashtin met in the Spring of 2023. A friend of his (Celestina) bet that Ashtin wouldn't go on a date with him, if you know Chris he wasn't going to lose that bet. Chris asked Celestina to find someone local he could take on a date. She responded with "good luck" after a few months of searching Instagram and Facebook Chris came up with a few people who he thought Celestina would approve of. To his surprise she didn't like any of them. So Chris gathered up a few more names and sent them to her for review. After reviewing them Celestina said "oh Ashtin is a good one but there is no way she will go on a date with you and plus I think she still has a boyfriend." Chris wasted no time setting out to prove her wrong. After a few messages, a couple of texts and a few phone calls Ashtin (thankfully was single) and the first date was all set up. Chris had no idea this would be a date that would forever change the trajectory of their lives. It was a cold spring night and Ashtin wanted Chris to meet her for the first time in Highland Park Village at Mi Cocina. Chris showed up a few minutes before her, nervous as could be. Ashtin pulled up alongside of his truck rolled her window down, waved, smiled and said hello. Chris thought to himself she is prettier in person than all the pictures they had exchanged. Three hours into their first date the waiter came by and said it was closing time. They didn't realize that hadn't even eaten dinner from talking so much. Chris and Ashtin finally left the restaurant and went for a short ride in the hummer truck. Chris made a facetime call to his friend Celestina to prove to her that he can do anything he sets his mind to. After not eating and a few drinks Chris now thought it would be a good time to tell Ashtin everything that was racing through his head such as how he was going to marry her one day, where they were going to live, how they were going to work together and even how many kids they were going to have. To Chris's surprise Ashtin just smiled and said that sounded good to her. Chris couldn't believe that Ashtin didn't shoot him down right away. Ashtin was a bit intimidated about Chris considering he had 2 beautiful homes in Lake Austin and was seriously going to drop all of that and move. 2 weeks later Chris kept his word and moved from Austin to Dallas so that he could be closer to her. The rest is history.

They are looking forward to starting a family and are excited to build a future together.
