A Fun Little Heads-Up: So… in true Bay St. Louis fashion, our wedding day just happens to fall on the same day as Frida Fest in Old Town Bay St. Louis—basically a town-wide celebration full of art, music, and people dressed as Frida Kahlo (yes, really). What does this mean for you? Expect a little extra traffic, some street closures, and parking that might require a bit of patience (and maybe a short walk) to Main Street United Methodist Church for our ceremony. We promise we didn’t plan it just to keep things interesting… but here we are. Please plan to arrive a little early to the ceremony and check out the parking/transportation info on the FAQ page to make things as smooth as possible. On the bright side, you’ll get dinner, drinks, and a free festival all in one day—what a deal! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Located closest to both wedding and reception venues and in the center of downtown Bay St. Louis, the Pearl is a beautiful hotel with many amenities, such as a pool. At the height of the summer, this is a wonderful opportunity to stay in downtown Bay St. Louis. The room rates range from $209 per night for a standard king courtyard room to $239 per night for premier king and double queen balcony rooms.

Just a short drive across highway 90 from downtown Bay St. Louis is the Hollywood Casino. This is the bride and groom's favorite casino on the gulf coast, and they have fun live entertainment every weekend night on the casino floor. Good luck!

Whether you've been to Bay St. Louis before or you're discovering this little coastal gem for the first time, we hope you enjoy a relaxed weekend on the beach with us! Old Town is full of great spots to eat, sip, and hang out -- you can stroll from one place to the next and never run out of delicious food or cold drinks. Here is our ideal weekend itinerary if we were guests for our wedding weekend: Friday evening: Arrive at your hotel/AirBNB and get ready. Make reservations in advance at either Anthony's Italian Restaurant, Field's Steak and Oysters, or the Sycamore House for dinner. Eat dinner, then head to Dan B's for live music. Saturday: Wake up and get breakfast and coffee at the Mockingbird Cafe. Shop around until lunch and get lunch at either The Blind Tiger (have to get the shrimp tacos), Barracuda Taco Stand (yummy margaritas), or pizza at the Ugly Pirate. Then, head back to the room and get ready to dance the night away! Sunday: Let's be honest, you probably had too much fun last night, so Waffle House is a must after you sleep in and check out from your hotel!
