My Papaw (Terry Fleetwood) has always been my hero and one of my favorite people in the world. It had always been my dream to have him perform my wedding ceremony. When John and I started wedding planning I knew that I would need a way to feel connected to my Papaw since he had passed away.

John and I love the outdoors and my Papaw's favorite place to hike was Brown County State Park. John fell in love with the views from the Nature Center and I loved the idea of being somewhere my Papaw had loved. I also wanted to make sure that my wedding was somewhere most of my family could come to very easily.

I also have very deliberately chosen a very special officiant for the wedding so that I know my Papaw will be honored.

John and I want the wedding to be a family focused and centered event and Brown County State Park was one of the many ways we have striven to achieve this goal.

The ceremony time is tentatively set for 4:30 pm. Though the timeline may change as the ceremony gets closer.

I have chosen to have tiger lilies be the main flower as they are my favorite and a favorite that I share with my Grandpa Butler.

After the ceremony I will be gathering the families up to do family photos (Fleetwood photo, Ison photo, and any families that would like to do their own photos). We will also have a floral arch for photos at the reception.

The reception will be buffet style allowing everyone to mingle and spend time with family.

John and I will be blocking out rooms at the Abe Martin Lodge so that after the reception we can go upstairs and continue visiting with family.
