Their story starts back in October of 2020. They met while at a bar in downtown Kearney through a mutual friend and immediately hit things off after Ashton kept persisting to buy Sean a drink. Sean was about to head off to college at SCC in Milford, while Ashton was in the middle of earning her bachelor's degree at UNK. The first two years together were distanced due to schooling. They faced some uphill battles but remained solid in their relationship with one another.

Sean popped the question on July 19th, 2022, while at a rock concert in Kansas City, Missouri. They waited to make the official announcement of their engagement until their 2-year anniversary that following October when Sean got a ring. After their engagement, they have stuck by each other’s sides for college graduations, getting “adult” jobs, and moving to Minden and then to Holdrege.

They are so excited for the next chapter of their life together and can’t wait to celebrate it with their friends and family. Their story is far from over… see you in December!
