Zach and Ashton met in college while attending MSU for agriculture. They both rode for the MSU Ranch Horse Team and met at the practices. After Zach messaged Ashton to ask about rivers in the Lebanon area, Ashton’s best friend, Dee, took it upon herself to be wingman. After seeing Zach on the Jumbotron during the PBR at JQH Arena, she moved seats to sit by him. Many jokes were shared by Dee, and much to her (& Ashton’s) delight, Zach texted Ashton later that night. They continued to talk everyday from that night on and soon went on their first date…a trail ride, of course, with dinner cooked over the campfire. Deep down, Ashton thinks she knew that night that Zach would be the one for her.

Zach & Ashton enjoy riding and working with horses (though Zach will never admit it), farming, shooting, hunting, fishing (for Ashton,really just warm days on the water), trips to Montana, and spending time with their Border Collie kids, Dani & Tucker, together. After they both finished college with Master’s degrees, Zach popped the question at the MSU Pinegar Arena where they first met. Now, they are ready to celebrate their love and say I Do on September 17th, 2022!
