Travel

Matthews, NC is only a fifteen minute drive to Charlotte, and a twenty minute drive to our venue. Downtown Matthews has coffee shops, restaurants and other fun shops to explore. We recommend going to breakfast at The Flying Biscuit Cafe and then going for a coffee at Brakemans.

Freedom Park is always fun for guests new to Charlotte to explore; especially in the fall with the leaves changing colors. The park offers hiking and walking trails, a picnic area and a nature museum, all free to the public!

If you would like an activity closer to the venue, Reeds Gold Mine is a great option. The mine offers a visitor center and tours through restored tunnels and the opportunity to pan for gold!

The Gibson Mill would be a great option for anyone to explore! It includes a food court with a variety of different foods, and has so many different antique treasures you could spend hours looking through. Great option close to our venue!
