It all started with a swipe. Grant and Ashton met on the dating app, Hinge. Grant was not in Ashton's "preffered dating radius"...with her living in Sacramento at the time, she thought the cute Copper boy was too distant for her liking. But, by somehow and someway, Ashton was in Lodi at her parents, and that's when the stars aligned and she swiped right. It was a match! That's where it all began.

Grant and Ashton started talking and hit it off instantaneously. Their first date was in Lodi at Kingdon Drags, where they could barely hear each other over the deafening roars of the car engines, so they decided to go get Mexican food. They spent that night talking and laughing, and feeling a sense of familiarity and comfort in each others presence.

The two talked everyday and looked forward to the weekends where they could spend all of their time together. They quickly fell in love and started creating new memories and building relationships with each others families. Any opportunity to get away and travel, they jumped on. Some of their favorite places include Lake Tahoe, Monterey, Las Vegas, Arizona, and their favorite, Kauai.

The couple both knew that they'd be married one day, and they couldn't wait to start their lives together. Grant planned a weekend getaway to South Lake Tahoe for New Years weekend, where he surprised Ashton and proposed by the lake. With a heart full of love, tears in her eyes and feeling overwhelmed with joy, Ashton was at a loss for words (forgetting to respond). Grant gave her a little reminder and she said "YES!" Finally the man she was praying for has come along.

The two are so excited for this new beginning of their lives and are ready to take this next step together of becoming husband and wife. They cannot wait for you to be a part of their special day and to celebrate their love together!
