For families or groups traveling together, another great option to consider is vacation rentals or Airbnbs in and around Galena! There are many rentals available — including homes, cabins, apartments, and larger group-friendly properties, so we hope that you can find something that fits your group’s needs if you decide to go this route!

For our guests traveling from the east, Freeport, IL or Rockford, IL might be convenient places to stay! Freeport is about 45 minutes from the venue, while Rockford is roughly an hour and 15 minutes away. These towns are a great option for anyone who'd like to be a little closer to home on their way in or out. We don’t have room blocks reserved in these areas, but there are plenty of hotels you can book independently!

For guests flying in, we recommend Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) or Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), both about a 2-hour drive from our venue. Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) is also an option, though it’s a bit farther—approximately 3 hours away. All airports offer a variety of flight options, so we hope that you can find one that works well for you!
