Is it required to RSVP?

YES! You must RSVP to attend as only invited guests will be allowed. Please RSVP by May 30th, 2024 to ensure that you do so in a timely manner.

Can I bring kids?

NO. This is an adult only event.

Is there a dress code?

YES! There is a strict dress code in place. The dress code is Black Tie so please wear formal all black attire. We can’t wait to see everyone in their all black everything 🖤

Where exactly is the ceremony?

The Indiana Statehouse is located downtown Indianapolis. It is the state capitol building of the U.S. state of Indiana. The address is 200 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Is there parking at the ceremony?

YES! Parking is free and is accessed from Ohio Street. There will be an attendant, and you will simply let them know you are attending the Johnson wedding to access the parking lot.

Where exactly is the reception?

The Murat Shrine Theater is a center located downtown Indianapolis at North and New Jersey streets. It is connected to the Old National Center, but has a separate entrance. The Murat's entrance is directly behind the statue and parking lot out front. The address is 510 N. New Jersey St. Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Is there parking at the reception?

YES! You may park for free at the Zion Evangelical United Church parking lot directly across the street. You will simply let them know you are parking for the Johnson Wedding at the Murat. The address is 603 N. New Jersey St. Indianapolis, IN 46202. Please refrain from parking at the Old National Center parking lot as they may charge you $20. Please park at the church for free.

How far apart are the venues?

Both venues are located downtown Indianapolis. The ceremony is a 7 minute drive from the reception hall.

Can I bring alcohol?

The Indiana Statehouse is a government building, so they do not allow alcohol in the hall. The Murat Shrine Theater does not allow outside alcohol as well. Please refrain from bringing alcohol to either location.

Can I smoke?

The Indiana Statehouse and the Murat Shrine Theater does not allow smoking, vaping, or anything of the kind within their spaces. Please refrain from smoking within either space.
