Asia and Vince met on Saturday, January 13th, 2018, in Los Angeles, California. Vince was in town for business and Asia was on her way to celebrate Founder’s Day (Oo-Oop!). What began as a networking brunch turned into a walk down Hollywood Boulevard and a stop at the fair on Santa Monica Pier. Anyone in their right mind would recognize this chance encounter was actually a “first date” …. But it took Vince a little while to see that.

Unbeknownst to them, they would spend the next year building the foundations of an unbreakable friendship from opposite sides of the country (Vince lived in Tampa, Florida, at the time).

Two sports business executives, Asia and Vince became trusted confidants for one another, sharing the highs and lows that come with navigating the industry. They would reconnect at industry events and continue to build on their professional relationship. It was clear that they were naturally drawn to one another. Text exchanges quickly evolved into hours-long phone conversations and FaceTime calls.

Beyond work, Asia and Vince learned the strength of their new friendship when Asia was planning her birthday trip to Cabo. Everyone she thought would be joining her ran into conflicts and she was preparing to take the journey alone. Vince stepped up and let her know that she didn’t have to go alone. They would spend her 28thbirthday together in Cabo as friends (seriously, no funny business). Cheers to more life!

Once that trip was done, it was back to regularly scheduled programming for their friendship, genuinely admiring and encouraging one another – Until one fateful day in February.

Asia was out for drinks with friends during a business trip. She and Vince were texting when he confessed, “I think I’m falling in Love with you.” Asia promptly responded, “Don’t come over here with that bulls*.”

The beginning of a true Love story 😂

Five years, three cities, two children, and countless moments together later, Asia and Vince are excited to take this step into forever together with the support and love of their family and friends.
