It all began in January 2020, when Asia moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to pursue her dream of becoming a news reporter. Little did she know, the biggest story of her life was just beginning. During her first week at CBS 21, she met Jimmie—a quiet, kind-eyed coworker who immediately caught her attention. She thought he was cute and tried (unsuccessfully) to find him on social media. But fate, as always, had other plans.

For about two weeks, Jimmie would casually swing by her desk to “check on her.” Eventually, he followed her on social media, and Asia made the first move by sliding into his DMs. The very next day, they went on their first date—and the connection was instant. On March 15, 2020, they officially became a couple—just as the world was going into lockdown. What could have been a chaotic time turned into a season of growth, laughter, and love, as they navigated the early days of their relationship during a pandemic.

In March 2023, Asia took a leap in her career and moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, to become a news anchor. It meant a year of long distance, but their bond only grew stronger. And when she moved back to Harrisburg, she brought along a new member of the family—Belle, an adorable imperial Shih Tzu who quickly became part of the package.

On May 14, 2024, Jimmie got down on one knee and asked Asia to be his forever. She said yes—and now they’re planning a celebration of love, laughter, and the journey that brought them here.
