Kyle and Aspen met in 2021 through mutual friends in college. Kyle was new to Bushnell University and lived down the hall from Aspen, who had been attending since 2019. Their paths crossed in the library when Aspen needed help drafting a fantasy football team for her family league. As the year went on, they kept up with each other and focused on school and athletics.

Fast forward to August of 2022, they finally started dating. The next two years were filled with movie dates, line dancing nights, and lots of snuggles with their cat Mango.

In 2024, Kyle took his knee during a photo session with their dear friends. Together, they have supported each other through the end of college athletics, started their teaching careers, and continue to draft very mediocre fantasy football teams.
