In 2020 Astrid left the valley for DFW to start on her masters degree and a new chapter of her life. Jacob had been living his lonely, boring, stress-free life, and everything was about to change. The tinder™

of their lives caught fire with a match and nothing would be the same. Covid changed some of Astrid's plans and it brought them even closer together. She moved to Denton to get her Master’s in school and professional counseling and Jacob began preparing for a new life full of remodeling, dog hair, and exploring the world. Since then, Astrid and Jacob have traveled the US and Mexico together, making friends and experiencing new things. In March of 2023 Jacob proposed to Astrid in San Luis Potosi Mexico and there was no turning back - their lives were tied together forever.
