We’re so excited to celebrate with you!
Our wedding isn’t your typical black-tie ballroom affair—and that’s just the way we like it. We’re heading to the mountains of Big Bear to celebrate love, laughter, and life surrounded by nature and the people who matter most.
There won’t be a red carpet, but there will be trees, twinkle lights, good food, great music, maybe some bugs and most importantly a whole lot of joy. We’re keeping things laid-back, a little rustic, and a little whimsical—just like us. So come ready for fresh air, dusty shoes, and a night full of memories under the stars.
We can’t wait to share this experience with our favorite people.
Venue Vibes: Ceremony first, in a Catholic church. After that, we’re taking it outdoors to a private campground pavilion for the reception. Estimated travel time from ceremony to reception is 1.5 hours. The main reception area is on a concrete pad (hello, dance floor), but surrounding it is nature in all its glory—think dirt roads, trees, and fresh mountain air. Shoes might get dusty on your way to and from your car or the restrooms (consider it part of the adventure 😉).
Dress Code: Mountain semi-formal. Think comfortable, stylish, and outdoor-friendly. Flowy dresses, boots, or dress shirts with rolled-up sleeves are all fair game. Leave the stilettos at home—they’re not built for dirt roads.
Shoes: The reception space is on concrete, but restrooms and parking will require walking on uneven dirt paths. We recommend sturdy, comfortable shoes you can walk (or dance!) in without sinking, slipping, or stressing. Dust happens—embrace it!
Weather: August in Big Bear = warm by day, cool by night. Bring a jacket or shawl—you’ll thank us later.
Parking + Access: There’s parking near the venue, but it’s up a slightly rugged dirt road. If your car isn’t into “off-roading lite,” we recommend carpooling and maybe leave the lowrider at home.
Cell Service: Don’t count on it. Signal might be spotty, so download directions ahead of time. And hey, consider it a break from notifications.
Gifts: Your presence means the world to us! If you’d like to give something, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us kick off married life with a little adventure, which will be available shortly on the website.
Kids: Little ones are welcome! Just please keep in mind that we’ll be surrounded by nature (and potentially wildlife). We ask that children be supervised at all times for their safety.
