While we may have been brought together by a little app on our phones in 2017, the universe had been trying to push us together from the start…

Cole and Atheena grew up in the same hometown, attended the same high school, and had a multitude of similar interests and friends without ever crossing paths. When their paths finally crossed, it was an instant and natural connection.

On their first date they closed the restaurant down, staying there well over five hours from when the night begun. They couldn’t seem to end the night so they kept “missing” the turn to drop Atheena off at home, talking and talking as if they knew on the first date that that would be their last “first date”.

Growing close fast, the two connected and bonded quickly, growing inseparable.

As college consumed their weekdays, the couple spent every moment together when not studying. Living long distance, did not falter their ability to become close with the other’s friends and family as time went on. Cole and Atheena solidified their bond over years of patience, love, and support for one another.

Cole proposed on November 20th, 2021 in Traverse City at Bower’s Harbor Winery. The couple comments on how they loved the down to earth atmosphere of the winery and they know it will be a beloved spot to visit for their entire lives.

On July 20th, 2024 Atheena will become a “Walls” as the two become one to joyously continue their lives and build a family together.
