Our Wedding

Athena resides in Houston, Texas with her two daughters Mikayla and Lorelai who attend Lamar High School.  She is a 15-year veteran who served in the United States Army and then Navy.  She graduated from Appalachian State University with her Bachlor's Degree.  She is a Legal Secretary (Paralegal) at a law firm in Houston that specializes in Municipal Utility Districts.  She actively attends church with her daughters at The Church of St. John the Divine Episcopal.  When not working, you will find her volunteering at the high school as a Marching Band Booster and anything requiring coordination for the girls not to mention flying from Texas to Michigan to ensure quality time with Rich.     

Athena 

Rich resides in Southgate, Michigan.  Rich attended Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in Riverview, Michigan.  He started his journey in manufacturing which all Michiganders know is the bellwether for the success of the US.  He is now a state certified S1 Water Distribution Operator for the City of Southgate proudly serving the city for 7 years.  In addition to his day-to-day role, he is also the steward for Technical, Professional, and Officeworkers Association of Michigan Union.  In his free time, he enjoys hiking, rock collecting in the UP, going to the gym, attending concerts, and comic con.  He actively attends church with his mother at St. Alfred's Catholic Church.    

Rich

Father Chris Yaw

Lorelai is my youngest daughter.  She attends Lamar High School in Houston, Texas where she is a part of JROTC and focuses strongly on her academics.  She has already attended a course at University of Houston-Downtown focusing on STEM.  She is an active member of her youth group.  Lorelai also does Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and won first place in her division.  I could not be prouder of her and the beautiful young lady she is becoming.

Uncle Rob is Rich's maternal uncle.  He is happily married to Aunt Suzi for 45 years, share two beautiful daughters who are also happily married, and 2 adorable grandchildren.  Uncle Rob has been an integral part of Rich's formative years as a role model, a second father figure, and a constant source of support and guidance throughout his life.

My brother Thomas is a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army currently stationed out of Fort Stewart, Georgia serving as Platoon Sergeant of Alpha Company (3-67 AR - 1st Platoon) and Tank Commander.
