Our Wedding

Athena & Matthew met at Nielsens Frozen Custard in Spring of 2024. Athena was there with her friends when Matthew approached them and offered to pay for her ice cream. They ended up chatting the night away and Athena decided to invite Matt to WhyKiki for some dancing since that is where her and her friends were headed. At the end of the night Matthew asked Athena on a more official date to the Aquarium the next day (pic is from our first date). 5 dates later Matt took Athena on a picnic date where he decided to ask her to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to Spring of 2025 They moved into a cute apartment together in March and Matt decided to take Athena on another picnic date in the same spot he asked her to be his girlfriend and proposed. The couple says they knew very early on that they wanted to spend the rest of lives together and are so excited for this new chapter!

Micah has been Athena’s best friend since 7th grade. They’ve gone through many of life’s big events together and Athena couldn’t imagine not having her by her side today!

Corina is Athena’s sister. Although they didn’t always get along growing up they’ve learned that sisterhood is one of the strongest bonds!

Camila is Athena’s cousin. They’ve been close ever since they were little and have gone on many adventures together including travel to Hawaii!

Samantha is Athena’s future sister in law! Although they haven’t spent much time together whenever they do it’s always fun and they both share a passion for scary movies!

Zach is Matthew’s best friend! They met in 7th grade and still enjoy going golfing together or to get some good food.

Allan John or AJ  is Matthew’s Cousin. They were super close growing up and still find time to catch up when they can!
