Our Wedding

Our story began with a mutual friend playing matchmaker. Actually getting to our first date took a little persistence—Ryan asked for nearly a month before it finally made the calendar. To be fair, I was distracted rebuilding the kitchen at the time, a project that was almost as cool as Ryan. On November 4, the waiting finally ended. We met on the sidewalk outside The Everly, catching sight of each other for the very first time. We spent the evening at Up-Down Arcade Bar, where nerves melted into easy conversation and lots of laughter. The highlights of the night: a fierce game of skeeball and Ryan winning our first kiss. Exactly two years later we returned to Up-Down to celebrate our anniversary. Surrounded by those same memories, we lined up for another round of skeeball. After I won a game against Ryan, he pulled out the ring, dropped to one knee, and asked me to marry him. Now we get to bring our journey full circle. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with you at The Everly—starting our future together in the very place we first laid eyes on each other.
