Rudy and I met the old fashioned way- on a dating app! We matched with each other and I had to be the first one to send a message in order to get the conversation started. I thought his profile might be fake, so I was a bit hesitant. We hit it off quickly and started talking over snapchat (so that I could make sure he was real). One day while I was home sick with a sick kiddo, I accidentally deleted him off of snapchat.

When I realized we were no longer friends, I thought he had deleted me and I went back to the dating app to message and ask why. But when I looked on the app- he had unmatched with me! I took about a day and a half to think it all through when I finally decided to reach out to him over Facebook. He responded quickly and said that I had deleted him on snapchat, and so he assumed I was not interested and ended up unmatching with me. We decided to start fresh and went on a date the next day.

During this date, I truly thought Rudy was entirely uninterested because he seemed so serious (which is crazy to think because now he is NEVER serious haha!). When we left he gave me an awkward hug and mentioned me buying him a beer next time we hang out- which I for sure thought was going to be as friends. We kept talking regularly and I soon realized that once he had some liquid courage, Rudy would divulge his feelings a bit more which led me to realize he did like me after all.

It was within two weeks of our first date that we started hanging out almost every single day I didn't have the boys. We had hard conversations early on to make sure we were both taking this seriously and that we would be a good fit. It was within a month of our first date that Rudy told me I was his endgame. And here we are!

Rudy and I have been through a lot together and every hurdle has helped us grow stronger individually and as a couple. We are truly best friends and we bring out the best in each other. We are so excited to share our love story with you, and for you to be part of our special day!
