Matt and I started texting in January 2022. Matt was in Alaska for work and we texted while he braved the cold.

Matt had a picture on his profile, that got my attention, with beard and green jacket (attached for reference), that made up for his slow responses. Also, same picture is still his contact picture on my phone!!

Our first date was on my birthday. We watched football (American football) - the Bills and Chiefs historic playoff game. I cooked chicken biryani, and Matt pretended to learn. On the same day, my dog Spaghetti (now she is more his dog) and I realized God sent us someone special!

Since that day, I’m continually amazed how Matt takes every opportunity to impress and inspire me by being supportive, calm and kind. His constant patience towards me and my new ideas for projects makes my heart full and happy.

After beautiful trips to 7 states, endless house projects, tennis matches, cooking bets, massage requests, date nights, TV series binges, Matt proposed to me in Sevierville, Tennessee on 9/9/2023.

We are excited to live this beautiful life with one another, hoping to celebrate our special day with you!
