Our Wedding

We met on April 9, 2017, and things clicked almost right away. Within 24 hours, we both had a feeling this was going to be something special. For the next several months we lived in different states, taking turns making the trip between Illinois and Tennessee just to spend time together. After plenty of tearful goodbyes, Aubree moved to Illinois to be with Zack, and we finally got to start our life together in the same place. Since then, we have built a life full of love, laughter, and all the little everyday things that mean the most to us. We love going to the movies, finding new music, and spending quiet nights at home with books, video games, and our ever-growing record collection. Zack always knows how to make Aubree laugh, and Aubree keeps life interesting in the best way. We share the same nerdy side, the same sentimental heart, and the same love of just being together. Whether we are staying up late talking, watching Disney movies, or just doing our own thing side by side, that is when we are happiest. On April 9, 2025, exactly eight years after we met, Zack asked Aubree to marry him. It was simple, sweet, and perfect. For Ladies Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all great choices. Midi and tea-length styles work especially well. Light, airy fabrics such as chiffon, organza, satin, or linen blends fit the setting beautifully. Dressy sandals, wedges, or block heels are recommended since the ceremony will be on grass.

For Gentlemen Suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt are great options. Jackets are welcome but not required. Lightweight fabrics and lighter seasonal tones are encouraged for an outdoor summer feel. Dress shoes or loafers are ideal.

A Few Notes for Everyone Please skip the jeans. Ladies, please avoid white. Our wedding colors are pink and green. We’re so excited to celebrate with you, and can’t wait to see you looking your best!

We have a room block reserved at Comfort Inn &amp; Suites, the closest hotel to our wedding venue (10-minute drive). The block is available for July 16–18. If you only need a room for the night of the 17th, be sure to adjust your dates when booking, as the link will automatically load both nights. Please reserve your room by June 16 to receive our discounted rate. Please make sure you see “Free-Deplewski Wedding” listed under the dates before completing your reservation. Check-in is at 4:00 pm. Call in advance to inquire about early check-in. Please keep in mind that if checking in on Friday, the wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.

Silver BeachOne of our favorite places to spend a summer day. Walk the pier, swim if the weather’s nice, or just relax by the water. Sunset here is always a good idea.
