Makayla is Aubrey's younger sister and lifelong best friend. She is confident, unapologetically herself, and always knows how to lighten the mood with her goofiness. Over the years, they’ve shared everything from endless laughs to occasional arguments about whose clothes are whose—thankfully, they won’t have to worry about that on the big day! Makayla is also an avid singer and dancer, so be sure to keep an eye out for her moves on the dance floor. Aubrey couldn’t imagine her special day without Makayla by her side as her maid of honor.

Emily has been Aubrey's best friend since 3rd grade, and from the moment they met, she’s been a constant in her life. We spent countless hours on the soccer field together, building a bond that has only grown stronger over the years. Her family feels like her own, and her ability to make her laugh—no matter the situation—is one of the many reasons I cherish her. Emily is the realest friend you'll ever have, but also the kindest. She looks out for everyone, all the time, and has so much empathy. She makes everything memorable, and I mean everything. (We still laugh over something that happened on a random Tuesday 6 years ago). Emily has always been in my corner, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Gillian and Aubrey's friendship started in the sweetest way—literally! They met on Instagram and bonded over their shared experience working at hometown ice cream shops. They took a leap of faith and became freshman year roommates at the University of Iowa, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. Gillian is the most kind-hearted person Aubrey knows. Whether it's baking cakes for every celebration and achievement, going on runs to support Aubrey’s half marathon training, or spending hours studying for Cognitive Psychology, Gillian has always been by her side. She has a remarkable ability to put others before herself and has truly been one of the greatest gifts Aubrey gained from college. Now roommates once again, Aubrey couldn’t imagine her wedding day without Gillian!

Aubrey and Piper’s incredible friendship began with a shared love of music when they performed a duet in show choir during their sophomore year of high school. Piper is an extraordinarily talented singer and actor, but even more than that, she’s an amazing friend. Their time spent together performing on stage, and in rehearsals of all sorts, are some of Aubrey's most cherished memories. The two have spent countless hours belting out musical soundtracks—Dear Evan Hansen holds a special place in their hearts, and they finally got to see it live together last December. They also share a love for watching performances, from high school productions to Broadway hits. Piper is Aubrey’s biggest supporter, offering unwavering encouragement without judgment. With her big heart and magnetic presence on stage, Piper is a star in every way. Aubrey couldn’t be more excited to have her as a bridesmaid, sharing in the joy of this special day.

Peyton and Aubrey have been friends since 3rd grade, and their bond has only grown stronger over the years. From marching in the band to being two of the nine girls on their 8th-grade basketball team, they’ve tackled just about every extracurricular activity you can imagine—together. Their adventures didn’t stop there. Whether it’s boating, performing, or sharing countless meals at their favorite restaurant, Villas, Peyton and Aubrey have always found ways to make life more fun. Peyton’s friendship has been a constant source of laughter, support, and joy in Aubrey’s life, and she couldn’t imagine celebrating her big day without her by her side as a bridesmaid.

Aubrey and Abbie first met through their mutual friend Gillian and quickly bonded over their shared ambition to practice law—though their interests couldn’t be more different! While Abbie is an economics and civil law queen, Aubrey is all about criminal law. Their friendship has grown over countless coffee dates at Iowa City’s best local spots, where they tackled endless assignments together. Abbie’s humor and lighthearted energy make every situation brighter, and her friendship is truly one of a kind.
