Aubrey and Pryor first met junior year of high school. Aubrey had moved to Liberty at the start of the year and Pryor transferred in halfway through. Towards the end of their senior year, Pryor suggested in the AP English group message (shout out to Dr. Lippe) that a group should get together to skip school and support the tennis team at the state meet in Waco. Only two people responded... one of them being Aubrey! Their friendship began on the trip to Waco (this is their first picture ever taken together... at a Cracker Barrel!) and continued to blossom over the rest of their senior year. They ended up taking another trip to Waco for the track team a few weeks later, and Aubrey started attending Liberty baseball games to support Pryor!

Once summer came around, the two continued to make memories before they parted ways for college. One night, being the thrill-seekers that they are, the duo decided to go check out some "haunted" graveyards to see if they could discover anything paranormal. Instead of finding ghosts, they were tailed by a fake police officer for a couple mile stretch on a back road, which was enough to scare the daylights out of them! Later in the summer, Aubrey came and visited Pryor at his job as a bellhop at the Gaylord. Never has someone requested so many towels before! Safe to say Pryor spent a large part of his shift attending to her and her family! Knowing the importance of the guest experience, Pryor took Aubrey on a tour of the Gaylord's atrium. He managed to convince her that the light reflections on the ceiling were stars, and while the moment is a funny one to look back on and joke about, it was also a very intimate moment in which feelings were starting develop between the two.

Ahead of a quick mid-summer-Parr-family trip, Pryor and Aubrey threw hail mary's by asking their parents if he could join them. They inexplicably each got permission from their parents, who still don't know why they gave them the okay (perhaps fate!), and the trip that followed was where their feelings really started transitioning from friends to more-than-friends. Turns out Zac Brown Band karaoke sessions really accelerate a relationship! Shortly after this trip, Aubrey and Pryor's relationship officially started in what some might say is the most traditional of manners: guy joins girl's family trip to Florida as a friend, wins her over, and the two start dating a month before they move 2,000 miles apart to start college. Classic!

Before heading off to college, they planned many fun and memorable experiences that summer. They country danced at Cowboys Red River dancehall, they went to a Rangers game, and even took a day trip to Turner Falls, Oklahoma!

During their freshman year of college, they planned surprise trips to see each other. First, Pryor surprising Aubrey at Midnight Yell...

... then Aubrey flying up to surprise Pryor for Valentine's Day!

Then Covid happened, which brought them both back home for the rest of 2020. During this stretch the two had more memorable experiences, including going to drive-in movies, doing fun seasonal activities like going to the pumpkin patch or making gingerbread houses, and dressing up and living out the Prom night they never got to!

On this date, Maverick entered Aubrey's life! The little Aussie fur-ball was a lifelong dream come true for her, and he has continued to bring both her and Pryor so much joy!

After the lockdown ended, the two returned to long distance dating. The summers were their main source of in-person hanging. They went on beach/lake family trips, worked out together, and even worked at The Gaylord water park together for a short time!

Pryor was able to live the dream playing baseball at Harvard for all 4 years of undergrad, and Aubrey was able to make it out to many games to support him!

Aubrey graduated from Texas A&M in the spring of 2022 with a degree in economics and business. She decided to take the next year to study for and take the LSAT and apply to law schools.

In her gap year, Aubrey chose to move to Boston while Pryor finished his undergraduate experience so they could be together. She moved into an apartment right on the Charles River, which quickly became the hotspot for late night Ramen and Game of Thrones binges (what a shame season 8 was...).

They were able to do some pretty fun things while together in Boston, like: - Adventure in the city -Take day trips out of the state -Attend formals -And go to concerts, like Josh Turner!

Pryor graduated from Harvard in the spring with a degree in economics and psychology.

Aubrey decided on The University of Oklahoma for law school. Pryor landed a job in Oklahoma City working for a commercial real estate investment firm called Humphreys Capital. The two moved in together and are currently residing in Norman, Oklahoma!

Aubrey and Pryor (& Mav!) are so excited for their special day, and are grateful for everyone coming out to celebrate with them!
