Q + A

When do we need to RSVP By?

As soon as possible would be greatly appreciated, but please RSVP by August 11, 2025, using the RSVP tab in the menu. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we will assume you are unable to attend. This will help us provide the final guest count to the venue and caterers. Thank you!

Are Kids Welcome?

We are keeping it to immediate family for kids and have thoughtfully personalized the invitations with the names of the invited children. While we absolutely adore your little ones, we encourage you to take this opportunity for a well-deserved night out to relax and celebrate with us.

Dinner Options? Food Allergies

We’re excited to share that dinner will be served buffet style, featuring two meat options, a potato dish, and a fresh salad. If you require a vegetarian option, there is a spot when you RSVP to let us know. Alternatively, you can contact the bride at 616-403-9056 or the groom at 810-964-2292 by August 11, 2025, so we can inform the caterer of how many meals to prepare. Thank you! The dinner will be gluten-free friendly besides the dinner rolls, as the bride herself is gluten-free. We’ll also offer a mix of gluten-free and non-gluten-free desserts. To ensure everyone enjoys the options safely, please avoid cross-contamination. Everything will be clearly labeled.

Will there be an open bar?

We’re excited to celebrate with all of you! We’ll have a cash bar available throughout the evening. We can’t wait to raise a glass and enjoy this special day together! The bar will be open during cocktail hour and will close temporarily during dinner. Water will still be available during this time. After dinner, the bar will reopen for the rest of the evening. Please Note: No outside alcohol is permitted at the event center. If any guest is found with outside alcohol, a $200 fine will be imposed on the event host. Thank you for helping us keep the celebration fun and stress-free!

Can I bring a date?

We are accommodating those who are formally invited as indicated on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding, and please reach out if you have any questions.

Where do I stay?

We’ve reserved rooms at several hotels, which are listed on the travel page of our website. All are located in Holland, just 12–20 minutes from the venue. While these hotels offer convenient locations and good rates, feel free to explore other options if you prefer! If you'd like to keep your group together, you might also consider nearby Airbnb options.

Can I take photos during the Ceremony?

We kindly ask that once our ceremony begins, all phones and cameras be silenced and put away. We want you to be fully present in the moment with us, allowing our photographer to capture the best memories, which we will happily share with you afterward. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like! We only ask that you wait to post any pictures until the bride and groom have shared about our big day first. Thank you for understanding and celebrating this moment with us!

What is the dress code?

We can’t wait to see our family and friends looking their best to celebrate our big day! We’d love for you to join us in formal cocktail or semi-formal attire, with rich fall colors encouraged to complement the season. Please, no jeans or denim, and we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing shades of white to keep the focus on the bride. Let’s make this a beautifully dressed celebration—dress to impress, and let’s make it a night to remember!

How does seating work?

The ceremony will be open seating you are loved by both the bride and groom. We will be blocking off the first few rows for family. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will commence promptly at 4:00 PM. Guests are kindly requested to arrive between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM to allow ample time for parking, signing the guest book, and mingling before the event begins. Please note that any guests arriving after 4:00 PM will be asked to wait until Aubrey has made her entrance down the aisle. Once she has proceeded, late arrivals will be guided to available seating.

What do I do if I can't make it?

You will be greatly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let use know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What is parking like?

The venue has free parking on-site. They will be open to the public for golfing so please keep that in mind.

Will the Wedding be indoor or Outdoor?

The Ceremony will be held outdoors, if weather is nice. The reception will be held indoors. If the weather is not what we were hoping the ceremony will be held indoors as well. Please dress accordingly.
