They met on the internet. You know, how people do. Cameron had been convinced by his best friend, Schyler, to download the dating app ‘Hinge’. He only had the the dating app downloaded for one day, while Aubrey had the app downloaded for months and months and months. Though it felt like years. Aubrey went on a plethora of lackluster dates, while Cameron went on ONE. They met in the morning at The Mill on 48th & Pioneers and sat at the table closest to the door (you never know when you’ll have to make a break for it ;) .) They sat and talked for a few hours before finally saying excited/nervous goodbyes. Aubrey knew within 5 minutes she’d love to see him again. She just didn’t know the second date would be later that same night. Cameron invited her over for macaroni and cheese pizza and to watch Lord of the Rings. This was a dream date night for a nerd. Aubrey broke her golden rule of waiting to visit someone she had just met at their residence, but after some light Facebook stalking and filling everyone in on where she would be, she headed over. Two dates in a day and the rest is history! Aubrey said yes to a lifetime with Cameron after he took a knee in the kitchen while Aubrey had Covid-19. They currently live in a nice neighborhood behind a catholic high school with their dog Wally and Aubrey’s countless plants.
