Aaron and Aubrey’s story started in the summer of 2022 when they both showed up early to campus at the University of Iowa. Aaron was there for football and Aubrey for soccer. Both were excited to start their seasons and settle into college life. They first met in Peterson Hall where new athletes were hanging out. Aubrey and her friends were curious to meet the football guys, and Aaron and his friends were happy to make an impression at the poker table, joking around and trying to win hearts and spare change.

Living on the same floor and having mutual friends, Aubrey and Aaron crossed paths a lot and quickly realized they had a special connection. Now they’re excited to start their future together and are grateful for everything that brought them to this moment.
