We met in high school in 2012, where we were part of the same friend group. After graduation, we went our separate ways and didn’t reconnect until the end of 2020, when Marcus was moving back home after college. We spent months talking and getting to know each other again, and on May 30, 2021, we went on our first date. Little did we know then that it would mark the beginning of the rest of our lives together. Over the next couple of years, we built a life together, growing through all the ups and downs of life. Then, on August 11, 2024, Marcus asked me to marry him, and it was the easiest "yes" I have ever given.

We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives and to start our family.
