Bailee and Aubrey after talking on the phone for a while went on their first date April 11, 2021. Aubrey being from Blissfield, MI and Bailee from Wooster, OH, would meet half way in Sandusky, OH for dinner and a movie.

I can remember sitting across from Bailee for the first time at that diner while she passionately talked about her favorite movie. Not fully realizing that her passion for the little things she loved would be one reason I would later fall in love with her. - Aubrey

April 17, 2021 in the basement of Bailees parents house Aubrey asked Bailee to be her girlfriend. Bailee said yes! Many long drives, hours of facetime, and 6 months of dating long distance, Aubrey moved to Wooster, Ohio.

With the long distance relationship now behind them, Aubrey and Bailee grew closer and spent much more time together. In the spring of 2022 they would vacation for the first time together in Florida, where Bailee would convince Aubrey they needed a dog. May 12, 2022 Aubrey and Bailee adopted a friendly and energetic Labrador Poodle named Fordy from the Human Society.

Late summer that same year Aubrey with the help of family planned a proposal to Bailee. On September 4, 2022 with Bailee completely surprised, Aubrey popped the question at Prairie Lane Campgrounds. Bailee said YES! And then was surprised again by family and friends that had gathered to celebrate.

I was so surprised and didnt even know what was really happening at first! It was such an amazing day but I had already known for many months that I wanted to marry her. The easiest yes ever. - Bailee
