We will continue to update information here as we plan, however I wanted to include some helpful tips in the meantime.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is the closest airport to our venue, The Ranch at Wimberley. The town of Wimberley is approximately 45 minutes south-west of the city, so depending on when you arrive you can decide whether you want to stay in Austin to explore the city before heading down to Wimberley. Since Wimberley is a sort of small town oasis tucked outside the city, I would recommend considering a car rental to remove any headache arranging transport. Wimberley is just remote enough that amenities like Uber are typically not available or reliable.

The Ranch at Wimberley has lodging on the grounds and we will be assigning rooms for immediate family to use for the weekend. That being said there is a TON of space on the grounds and plenty of randomly scattered futons and sleeper sofas that we can all get pretty cozy if needed. I am keeping a few rooms open as "flex space" if anyone needs a place to crash the night of the wedding - please contact me if you are interested as these will be first come/first serve.

There is also plenty of space and amenities for camper vans if that is your preferred method of travel. Please email/text me if you are concerned about lodging and would like help. I will contact family members directly with your cabin/room assignment as the day gets closer. There are a number of very cute AirBnBs directly surrounding The Ranch as well as some cabins and inn style rooms available in the town of Wimberley and at a neighboring farm if you would prefer having your own dedicated space (links below - however not sure if they are still available).
